By Air
From the 1st of March 2011, flight services between Perth to Shark Bay/Monkey Mia will be operated by Skippers Aviation. Skippers operates ever Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Perth to Monkey Mia airport which is 8 kilometres out of Denham on the Monkey Mia road.

Bus
The Greyhound bus takes approximately twelve hours from Perth to Denham and travels three (3) times per week dropping off at the Overlander Roadhouse near the turnoff to Denham.
Shark Bay Car Hire will bring you into Denham. This service runs on an as needs basis, Greyhound buses will only be met if bookings are made for the shuttle service in advance. The Greyhound bus currently runs northbound (Perth to Broome) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays arriving at the Overlander Roadhouse at approximately 5.00pm. Pickups to meet this bus will depart from Monkey Mia at 3.30pm from the reception area and from Denham at 3.50pm from our Office at 65 Knight Terrace, Denham. The Bus also runs southbound (Broome to Perth) on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays arriving at the Overlander Roadhouse at approximately 5.50am.

Rent a Car

ONE WAY RENTALS: If you wish to drive both ways between Perth and Denham Shark Bay, Shark Bay Car Hire is happy to organise a “one way” vehicle rental in either direction. You may collect your car in Perth then dump it in Denham, or vice versa. This gives you total flexibility. Please be advised these type of hire must be for a minimum of 5 days and we require at least 6 weeks notice if they are able to organise.

Self Drive
In your own vehicle, or a vehicle rented from elsewhere, you can drive to Shark Bay at your own leisurely pace. Take the North West Coastal Highway and see some of the most interesting places to visit available for you to enjoy. Go as far as the Overlander Roadhouse and take the next turnoff left onto the Shark Bay road.
